    Organic Cotton

The cotton used for our mattresses and sleep accessories is cultivated and hand-picked using traditional methods. It is grown organically without the use of synthetic pesticides, herbicides or defoliants.

We do not use synthetic chemicals to strip cotton leaves prior to harvesting or during the manufacturing process. Picking our cotton by hand ensures that we collect the cleanest, purest, most resilient cotton fibre available. The cotton is then woven into one of the finest, softest fabrics available in most European countries.

    Organic Wool

Our wool is shorn from Corriedale sheep. Their wool is extremely resilient, dense, and fluffy with an extremely comfortable feel that keeps its bounce and cloud-like feel for years.  Our sheep graze in pastures that have not been treated with pesticides or herbicides.

Our wool is washed with hot water and organic soap. This process allows our wool fiber to retain two to four percent of its lanolin oil, which is a natural dust-mite repellant.

Benefits:

  • Moisture absorbent
  • Excellent temperature control
  • Naturally fire retardant
  • Breathable

    Organic Rubber

Our high quality organic rubber comes from Sri Lanka. Its flexible nature contours to your body for long-term support and pressure relief.

Organic rubber is a renewable resource. The highest quality rubber comes from milk or sap tapped from the Hevea Brasiliensis, grown on Sri Lankan plantations. Our supplier specializes in fine quality rubber for mattress use. It is an extremely durable, elastic material characterized by its ability to retain its shape and firmness for a long period of time.

Rubber milk, much like cow’s milk, cannot be left sitting outside in hot temperatures. So, we process the Hevea milk near the plantation to eliminate any rubber destabilization. The milk is harvested in the morning and delivered to the processing facility within hours. It is molded into sheets shortly after. This sequence eliminates the need for chemical stabilizers, and ensures our rubber cores are as pure as they can be. They are then shipped to Canada and received at our Sleeptek manufacturing facility.

Benefits:

  • Durable and elastic
  • Retains shape and firmness
  • Excellent heat and moisture regulation
  • Resists dust-mites naturally
  • Relieves pressure

Every mile we travel is one mile closer to you having the best night’s sleep on the best natural materials in the world.
